At The Merewether, our junior programs are designed to guide young golfers through every stage of the game. From first-time experiences through to competitive golf, our development pathway provides opportunities for juniors to learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and enjoy playing the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Program Details

Our junior programs are designed to support golfers at every stage of their development. From beginner clinics through to advanced coaching, each program focuses on building skills, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of the game.

MyGolf Rookie (6–9 Years)

A beginner-focused program introducing the fundamentals of golf through fun games and activities.

MyGolf Cadet (10–16 Years)

Develops core skills while preparing juniors for on-course play and competition.

Private 1-on-1 Lessons

One-on-one coaching tailored to each junior’s development and skill level.

Academy Program

For advanced junior golfers with an handicap who are committed to improving their game through advanced training.

Junior Competitions

Junior golfers at The Merewether have opportunities to participate in a variety of competitions and events including:

• Weekly junior competitions

• 4-hole beginner competitions

• JNJG events & Junior Pennants

• Participation in senior competitions as skills develop

These opportunities help juniors build confidence and enjoy competitive golf in a supportive environment.

Junior Membership

Junior membership at The Merewether provides young golfers with the opportunity to develop their game while becoming part of the club community.

Members gain access to the golf course, junior competitions, development programs, and pathways into representative and competitive golf.
