Welcome – Who We Are
The Merewether Minors is a friendly and social golf group for women, formed in 1998 with the aim of learning the game of golf in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
Our focus is on helping women develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the rules and etiquette of golf, while enjoying regular play and building lasting friendships.
Whether you are brand new to golf or returning to the game, the Minors provide a relaxed and welcoming pathway into club golf.

HOW IT WORKS
Your Path into Golf
Step 1 – Learn the Basics
For those new to golf, a series of clinics are offered through the Pro Shop. Completion of these clinics is required before participating in Minors competitions.

Step 3 – Play Weekly Golf
Members enjoy a weekly 9-hole competition every Tuesday, along with a full calendar of competitions and social events throughout the year.

Step 2 – Join the Minors
Registration to join the Merewether Minors takes place towards the end of January each year, with membership closing on 30 June.
Members are graded for competition into three grades – A, B and C to ensure enjoyable and fair play for all participants.

The Merewether Minors is supported by a dedicated volunteer Committee who coordinate competitions, events, and social activities throughout the year.
